Owner Camilla Downs

Camilla Downs’ mission is to connect those around her with the resources to discover their unlimited potential and the unique contributions they can make to society. Although Camilla was raised down south in Mississippi and Louisiana she attended college in the state of Washington. She received a paralegal degree and enjoyed her career as a paralegal for 10 years. Camilla left the traditional work force in 2002 to spend more time with her 9 month old daughter and to pursue life as an entrepreneur.

She co-owned a construction company and later transformed the construction company into a successful company buying run-down old houses, restoring them and selling them.  With the downturn in the real estate market it was time to turn to something else fun and exciting. In 2006 Camilla moved to Reno with her 2 children and began attending networking events to determine where she fit into the Reno business scene.

Along came Alison Elliott, CEO and Founder of Corner Your Market. It wasn’t until several months later that the two began seriously discussing Camilla starting Corner Your Market Reno and she hasn’t looked back since.

Camilla’s strengths are researching and collecting information. She spends hours in front of the computer reading, collecting and testing information regarding social marketing. “I am passionate about supporting fellow entrepreneurs and Corner Your Market Reno is the perfect avenue for me to do just that.”
